Ruben Amorim's first game as Manchester United coach ended in a frustrating draw with Ipswich Town on Sunday evening.

The Red Devils drew 1-1 at Portman Road, leaving them 12th in the Premier League with 16 points, six points of the top four.

The new coach has plenty to say after the match, including ominous predictions about his team.

The English giants made a perfect start to the game when Marcus Rashford scored after two minutes. However, they failed to build on that, allowing the hosts to return to the game.

Andre Onana made a spectacular save late in the first half but couldn't stop Omari Hutchinson's deflected equaliser, per Sky Sports.

Amorim's side had a few chances to score but failed to take advantage and had to settle for a frustrating draw. They are still unbeaten in five matches but many fans wanted a win over the newly promoted team.

Amorim's assessment of his first Man United match

Speaking after the game, Amorim highlighted several problems his new team faces, stressing that they will need time to adapt.

"They are thinking too much because we are changing too much with two trainings now without space to improve in training, Amorim said via Manchester Evening News.

He seemed to imply that things will get worse before they get better.

"We are going to suffer for a long period and we will try to win games, this will take time. We have to win games but we could lose if it was not for Onana. So I think we have to understand that and think and be pragmatic that these guys had two days to train to change so much."
