Arsenal beat Manchester United 2-0 on Wednesday night, ending Ruben Amorim's short reign as a Premier League coach.
The Gunners once again showed their strength from setpieces, scoring twice from corners to condemn their rivals to a first defeat since Erik ten Hag left.
It was a cagey contest for most of the first half, with Arsenal dominating the ball for most of the game. Amorim made six changes to the squad that beat Everton 4-0 on Sunday, but they failed to keep up with the hosts' tempo.
Arsenal's set-piece routine to the rescue
But for all their ruthlessness in front of goal, Arteta's side had to rely on a trick they have used more frequently than any other side in the last two seasons to get the better of United eventually.

Jurrien Timber flicked Declan Rice's corner in the 54th minute to beat Andre Onana at the far post, but the second goal drew much reaction.
Bukayo Saka swung in the corner this time with Thomas Partey heading back into the danger area. The ball ricocheted off William Saliba's backside before flying past Onana.
Arteta's Black Sweater said,
"Saliba's backside has more goals than Savinho and Doku."
Odegoat said,
"William Saliba, you put the (expletive) in ARSENAL"
Bri said,
"The ball hits Saliba’s backside and he celebrates like he’s scored a screamer."
Despite the win, Arsenal dropped to third after Chelsea beat Southampton 5-1 to gain a better goal difference than their London rivals. United, who started the day in 9th, dropped to 11th.
