Solskjaer has not been in the dugout since his departure from Old Trafford, and with Wolves' poor form, there has been speculation that he could take charge.

The treble-winner coached 168 games at Old Trafford before taking the role of Technical Observer at UEFA, per Manchester Evening News.

In the last few years, he has been linked with a return to coaching, but none has materialized. Interestingly, he could've attended the game at Molineux to watch his former colleague Kieran McKenna, who coaches Ipswich.
