Once again, Mofokeng will spend the season away from home on a temporary move. The youngster will return to Botswana side Mochudi Centre Chiefs after spending last season on loan at the same club.

The Botswana giants spotted the South African winger's talent while with Pele Pele FC, a feeder team for Orlando Pirates.

Mofokeng decided to extend his loan deal with Chiefs after a successful season with the same team last term.

The Soweto giants are optimistic that another loan spell will aid their young talent, who is widely regarded as a future star at the club.

Pirates fans will also be watching the youngster closely after he was not promoted to the club's first team, despite the departure of Mohau Nkota to Saudi Professional League side Al-Ettifaq FC.

Mofokeng's move backed up claims by Pirates' new coach Abdeslam Ouaddou, who stated that he has issues with managing a large squad.
