Abdeslam Ouaddou Unimpressed Despite Orlando Pirates’ 3–0 CAFCL Triumph

Orlando Pirates coach Abdeslam Ouaddou admitted he wasn’t fully satisfied with their 3-0 victory over Lioli FC but highlighted the team’s much-improved performance in the second half.

Ouaddou, speaking after the 3-0 win, stressed that qualification was far from settled:

“I don’t believe the tie is over until the second leg is played. We stuck to our strategy, and the players did well, but this is only halfway. I can’t say I’m completely satisfied because we could have taken more of our chances.”

He continued: “In the first half, we couldn’t really get in behind their defence due to how well they set up. Credit to them for that. But in the second half, once we introduced more pace on the wings, we managed to stretch them and create more space.”
