The former Sekhukhune United midfielder joined the Sea Robbers this summer on a free transfer after Mamelodi Sundowns decided not to renew his contract.
Since joining the Bucs, Mbule has transformed into a standout player, dominating the midfield for Pirates and earning a recall to the South African men's national team.
Mbule featured in both World Cup qualifiers against Lesotho and the Super Eagles of Nigeria, where he gave a good account of himself in both games.

Khumalo told iDiski Times that Sipho Mbule is showing encouraging signs of progress at Orlando Pirates. He urged patience as the midfielder continues to settle in.
He praised Mbule’s performances, noting that his ability to deliver under the pressure of 60,000 fans at Orlando Stadium proves he has the quality to represent South Africa at the highest level in Morocco.
The Chiefs legend highlighted Mbule’s experience and natural talent, calling him a gifted player who is capable of giving the nation what it needs on the continental stage.
Khumalo revealed that he often discusses the youngster with Hlompho Kekana and stressed the importance of Mbule putting distractions aside to focus fully on his football.
