Two Orlando Pirates youngsters have completed transfers to Eswatini Premier League side Moneni Pirates, departing the South African champions to continue their football development across the border.

Moneni Pirates confirmed the arrivals of Refiloe Madu and Reggie Williams, both of whom had been part of the Orlando Pirates DStv Diski Challenge setup before making the switch.

The Eswatini club issued a formal statement on Facebook acknowledging the goodwill shown by the South African side throughout the transfer process.

Madu and Williams had both featured for Orlando Pirates at reserve level through the DStv Diski Challenge competition, which serves as a development pathway for younger players within South African football's top-flight structure.
The move to Eswatini's top division represents an opportunity for both players to gain consistent senior competitive experience, something that can be difficult to come by for youngsters competing within one of Africa's most competitive club environments.
