How old is Jordan?

Jordan, who turned 21 earlier this year, is also into sports, but in a different direction than his dad. The young man is a footballer and plays as a goalkeeper.

He is a lifelong supporter of English Premier League side Liverpool FC and has a younger sister, Kylie, who turned 19 a few months ago.

Born in January 2004 to Joost and his second wife, Amor, Jordan grew up surrounded by his father’s rugby legacy as a celebrated Springbok scrum-half with 89 caps. Despite this, he gravitated towards football, aiming to make his mark.

From the age of three, Jordan showed a passion for the sport. He trained with Valencia CF's youth academy in Spain, spending six months there to develop his skills. He also earned a trial with Reading FC's youth academy in the UK.

Jordan dreams of playing for Liverpool FC, inspired by the club’s anthem, You'll Never Walk Alone. In 2017, Liverpool manager Jürgen Klopp sent him a signed jersey and a personal letter after his father’s passing.
