Former President Jacob Zuma has accused the IEC of politicking and trying to block him from running in the upcoming 29 May 2024 General Election.

The MK party demanded that the Independent Electoral Commission's commissioner, Janet Love, step down from her post to save the IEC's reputation.

The IEC will seek legal advice and request reasons from the Electoral Court on its order allowing Jacob Zuma to run in the upcoming 2024 General Election.
