The 2014 Oscar Award winner Lupita Nyong'o was left shocked after actor Will Smith slapped comedian Chris Rock.
Lupita, the 2014 winner of the Best Supporting Actress at the Oscars, dressed in a sparkling gold sequin Prada dress, was left mouth agape in shock after the altercation.
The now infamous slap by Will Smith during the 94th Academy Awards event held at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
The Hollywood actor emerged as the Best Actor bagging the Oscar for his role in the movie King Richard.

Briefly News previously reported that the celebrated actor, while receiving his Oscar award, took the opportunity to apologise to fellow award nominees.

In his emotional acceptance speech, Will, who was in tears, revealed that his wife had a medical condition that makes her lose hair.
"Love will make you do crazy things. I want to apologise to the Academy, I want to apologize to all my fellow nominees," he said.
After being smacked, the visibly shocked comedian retorted, stuttering:
"Wow! Oh! Wow! Will Smith just smacked the sh*t out of me. Wow dude, it was a G.I Jane joke. That's the greatest night in the history of television.
