Tariful Islam and his wife Farhana are currently very happy because they have received their PhD certificates on the same day from the same school.
They both bagged the certificate from the Texas Tech University, United States.
The couple has released a nice photo to celebrate their amazing feat even as their story has gone viral because it is inspirational.

"2006: We started our undergraduate studies in the Biotechnology & Genetic Engineering Discipline, Khulna University, Khulna, Bangladesh
2010: Graduated together
2010: I joined a pharmaceutical industry
2011: We got married (Alhamdullilah!)
2015: We were blessed with a baby girl (Alhamdullilah!!)
2017: I started my Ph.D. life in Japan. Life was painful without my wife and daughter. They could not join me there. It stressed out me a lot. I started applying to other universities.
2018: Farhana started her Ph.D. with a RA position in the Department of Biology, Texas Tech University. She went there with our kid.
2018: I started my Ph.D. with a scholarship and a TA position in the Department of Nutritional Sciences, Texas Tech University
2020: Pandemic appeared! We both completed our Ph.D. qualifying exam.

2021: We were blessed with our second baby girl (Alhamdullilah!!!!)
2022: We both successfully defended our dissertation and received our Ph.D. degree officially!"
