Dad Again: CNN Anchor Anderson Cooper Announces Birth of 2nd Son Sebastian Luke
- Celebrated CNN news anchor Anderson Cooper and partner Benjamin Maisani are dads again following the birth of baby Sebastian Luke Maisani
- Sebastian was born through surrogacy and Anderson Cooper is very grateful to the woman who help bring their second son into the world
- The couple also have another son, Wyatt, who is now 22 months old and Maisani is in the process of formally adopting him

Revered CNN anchor Anderson Cooper and his partner Benjamin Maisani are dads again to a cuddly baby boy, Sebastian Luke Maisani- Cooper who weighed 6.8 pounds at birth.
Born through a surrogate
Just as with the birth of Cooper's first son Wyatt, Sebastian was born through a surrogate but will be raised by Cooper and Maisani.
According to NBC News, Cooper announced the birth of his child Live on air.

“He is healthy and happy, and even his occasional hiccups are to me adorable,” Cooper told viewers.
“He mostly just sleeps and eats, and he certainly poops, but he already seems like a wise and thoughtful little chap,” he added.
Process of adopting Wyatt
Maisani is in the process of adopting little Wyatt whose last name will be Maisani -Cooper.
“We are co-parents. Wyatt calls me Daddy, and Benjamin is Papa,” Cooper has said.
“Wyatt helped us put together Sebastian’s crib and calls his little brother by his middle name, Luke,” Cooper said.
We’ll never forget the kindness
Cooper was grateful to their surrogate who helped usher baby Sebastian into the world.
“The sacrifices she and her family — her entire family — made and the love that they gave Sebastian this past year has been extraordinary,” Cooper said. “We’ll never forget the kindness.”

In 2020, Briefly News reported that popular gay news anchor Anderson Cooper was over the moon following the birth of his first-ever baby. The revered CNN news anchor announced to fans that he was blessed with a son on Monday, 27 April.
In a long Instagram post seen by Briefly News on Thursday, 30 April, Cooper disclosed his son was born through a surrogate. The news anchor expressed his joy revealing that he could not believe he has his son in his arms since he never thought he would get one, growing up as a gay kid.
"As a gay kid, I never thought it would be possible to have a child, and I am grateful for all those who have paved the way, and for the doctors and nurses and everyone involved in my son's birth." he wrote in part.
