Backyard barbeque

The media personality, 68, celebrated United States of America's Independence Day by hosting a backyard party for her ailing dad. Oprah took to Instagram and stated that the real reason for the barbeque was to hold an appreciation day for him.

She captioned the post:

The media mogul stated:

"My father is ill and so we wanted to be able to have all of his friends come and celebrate him while he's able to receive the joy," she said.

According to People, Oprah showed off a banner behind her in her 88-year-old father's honour. The Instagram post by Oprah attracted comments from her fans, and below are some of their reactions.
