A clip has been shared online of a female Parliament member defending herself and the EFF's Julius Malema with a bottle of hand sanitiser and many South Africans seem to appreciate her actions.

Social media users are totally for it

After watching the ample drama unfold at the Parliament meeting, most of which Malema was at the centre of, many South Africans seem to welcome the MP's use of sanitiser to defend herself.

Juju commended for calm demeanour during confrontation

Briefly News earlier reported that CIC of the EFF, Julius Malema, has received many thumbs-up from South African Twitter users who commended him on his calm demeanour after being shoved by a female MP at the Pan African Parliament.

Heading online, Malema finally broke his silence on the matter and made it known to his followers that he himself did not know what to make of the female delegate's behaviour. He shared a shrugging emoji above a clip of the drama unfolding and the woman getting physical with him.

Many of his followers subsequently took to the comment section of the post to praise Malema for not retaliating and keeping his calm during what was obviously a provocative moment.
