- A cheeky Nando's advert has insinuated couples may be getting together in the winter just to keep warm and has warned its loyal customers
- The restaurant has also hilariously suggested it may be much less emotionally strenuous to be tied down to a warm meal this winter and not a seasonal lover
- Mzzansi social media users absolutely could not deal and took to the comments section to share their own silly reactions
A saucy tweet from Nando's SA has once again got social media talking, this after the fast-food restaurant shaded people coupling up in the chilly winter season.
Nando's claps back
@NandosSA wrote the hilarious comments after one user reacted to a recent advert. The fast-food giant went on to defend its words, insinuating couples who get together during the winter months are only doing so to keep warm.
"It's not love, ke winter," wrote the cheeky ad.
Later, the restaurant went on to humorously explain its choice, suggesting it may be cheaper and less emotionally taxing to cosy up with a delectable Nando's meal as opposed to a person who may just be using you.
"To: Members of KnowYourWorth.com. Reminder to trade in your “sefuba pillow & ingubo enamehlo” combo for pieces to comfort your belly," they hilariously wrote
Social media reactions
Mzansi social media users were definitely fired up by the relatable content and took to the comments section to share their thoughts.

@kabelodick teasingly wrote:
"Busy raining on our parades, now you will increase members of the know your worth gang and we won't have anyone to push winter with mxm."
"Admin bathong you always on another level eeh...
"In terms of peace, y'all have 0."
"Y’all are wild."
More from Nando's SA
In some more news about the fast-food giant, Briefly News previously reported that Nando's SA has got Mzansi laughing again, this time for hilariously clapping back at one Twitter user asking for a free meal.
The cheeky restaurant account has shaded the young man's math skills
It all started when fellow food giant @SteersSA asked its many followers to solve a simple maths problem in the hopes of bagging a free meal. @15TeeJay is certainly a Nando's fan and was probably hoping the restaurant would offer him the same freebie.
"@NandosSA, Ke kopa Lunch Tuu?" he captioned the pleading post.
@NandosSA definitely never responds to social media users without a saucy response and had this to say:
"You asking us because dololo PhD in BODMAS neh? You ask, we deliver. Simple mathematics!"
Social media reaction
Mzansi social media users found the exchange absolutely hilarious and took to the comments section to share in the joke. Check out some of the responses below:
"Why does it have to be this difficult?? Nothing for mahala at all. Maths never loved us."
"I can give you a number of reasons why I need the meal too."
"Don't be hurt neh? They also don't know the answer."
"Ooouch!!! I felt that. Kodwa Nando's admin uwenzani."
" I'm crying... why y'all gotta be so ratcheted though?"
"Admin surely will offer him rolls, with extra flour on them."
"@SteersSA if you fail to clap back by 19:00 I won that Bodmas competition without playing."
