6 Mzansi celebs born in the 90s: From Nomzamo Mbatha to Nasty C

The 90s was quite a historic decade for South Africa- not only did it mark the end of apartheid in 1994, but it was also the decade where some of SA's favourite celebs were born.

So, Briefly.co.za decided to take a look at six of our fave celebs who were born in the 90s.

1. Nasty C

Born: 11 February 1997

At the tender age of just 21, Nasty C is already one of the most popular rappers in the country. He is considered to be one of the best young rappers in South Africa.

2. Nomzamo Mbatha

Born: 13 July 1990

It is hard to believe that Nomzamo Mbatha is still in her 20s, especially when taking into consideration the success she reached and her maturity as an actress. The award-winning actress is only 28-years-old.

3. Babes Wodumo

Born: 26 July 1994

At the age of 24, Bongekile Simelane, who is best known by her stage name Babes Wodumo, is already so successful she was dubbed the queen of gqom.

4. Emtee

Born: 17 September 1992

Mthembeni Ndevu, popularly known by his stage name Emtee, shot to fame after his debut hit single, "Roll Up", released in 2015.

5. Chad Da Don

Born: 16 April 1993

Songwriter Donovan Chad Mansoor, best known by his stage name Chad da Don, is only 25-years-old.

Da Don allegedly tied the knot to Kelly Khumalo, who is nine years his senior. However, despite the large age gap, the couple could not have been happier and we can't help but feel happy for Kelly.

6. Linda Mtoba

Born: 11 November 1991

Mtoba showed although she is still young, she is strong enough to make her own decisions. When she tied the knot in 2017, many criticised her for being too young to marry. However, the actress followed her heart and proved to others young married couples can be happy.

As for her career, the former Isibaya actress reportedly has an international gig lined up.
