Again! 'Yekelela' singer, Moneoa arrested for alleged drunken driving

Moneoa was allegedly caught driving under the influence again. This is not the first time the singer has been caught by police for allegedly driving under the influence.

According to the Sunday Sun, the 29-year-old is believed to have taken a breathalyser test at a roadblock in Fourways and that police were allegedly investigating a case of drunken driving.

Moneoa is one of the country’s most talented vocalists, but she seems to be making a name for herself in the country’s courts as well.

Just last year, the Yekelela hit maker was allegedly caught driving under the influence, according to the Daily Sun. It is alleged that the singer’s breathalyser reading was 0.30ml - which is way over the legal limit.

She is not the only celebrity to feel the strong arm of the law this year. Briefly.co.za recently reported that Khanya Mkangisa has also recently learnt that lesson after she spent the night in jail. The Queen actress allegedly bumped her car into an orange BMW and fled the scene. Unfortunately for her, “the scene” was her apartment complex. And the owner of the BMW, Katlego Mphuthi, lived in the same complex. She spent the night in the holding cells at Randburg Police Station after security guards a the complex confirmed that she bumped the car.
