Businessman and philanthropist, Collen Mashawana, has been making headlines for his role in providing South Africans with new homes, thereby improving families’ living conditions drastically.
Mashawana is the Chairman of Afribiz Invest and founder of The Collen Mashawana Foundation. He is passionate about inspiring South Africans to live their best lives and goes the extra mile to help South Africans who need it the most.

Mashawana started the Collen Mashawana Foundation, which is an African-based and -funded NGO dedicated to creating jobs for the youth. The organisation prioritises improving education and employment with the hopes of eradicating poverty in the country, Briefly.co.za found.
Mashwana obtained a diploma in IT and a degree in Business Management from UNISA. Since then, he has risen to become a board member of various multinational companies in the construction and engineering industries.

“We continue to challenge you to do whatever is possible or within your ability to change the next person's life who is less advantaged. You don’t need to have much but believe me the little you will do for those that do not have will be a lot,” wrote Mashaba on social media.
Earlier, Briefly.co.za reported that Mashawana helped build a 3-bedroom home for a 101-year-old grandmother and a new home for a SANDF veteran and his family. Today, Mashawana shared that he would provide a new home for a grandmother and her grandchildren, after their house sustained serious damage in a storm.
