While some would love to be compared to award-winning popstar, businesswoman and media personality, Rihanna, 23-year-old, Yna Sertalf, has voiced her struggle with being the star’s ‘twin’.

According to Channel24, Yna carries such a resemblance to the star known as ‘Riri’, that even her own mother has mistaken her for the Barbados-born celeb.

Yna explained how her relationship status is linked to her likeness to the popstar:

“When I talk to someone and hear Rihanna too many times [when we’re hanging out], I give up [on them] because I can’t determine if the person fantasises about Rihanna or if they really want to know me. That’s why I’m single.”

"I’ve been single for about a year, but I’d never put myself in a relationship with someone who sees me as Rihanna and not Yna," the Rihanna doppelganger continued.

Although the comparisons can be frustrating, Briefly.co.za gathered that Yna finds it cute when children are excited to see ‘Rihanna’ as she walks by.
