Being a victim is very traumatic but unfortunately very real in this country. One out of every five people have been affected by crime in some way or another in their life.
The worst part of experiencing such an ordeal is that you never get over it or it takes a long time to heal emotionally.
Actress Asavela Mngqithi took to Twitter to share her traumatic experience. She revealed she was held at gunpoint and beaten up over the weekend, while she was with her family.

Asavela didn’t explain the full details of what had happened, but her followers offered her words of encouragement and expressed happiness that she was not seriously hurt or killed during the horrific incident.
