Earlier this month, Carol van der Linde - the wife of former Springboks player, Toks - was allegedly slapped during a confrontation on a Mango flight.

Carol share a video of the incident on her Facebook page, captioning:

"Security came to remove him because he hit me and because of his crude language and behaviour. Mango JE709."

According to Traveller24, the flight crew asked the man to move from his seat but he flat-out refused to adhere to their commands because the "plane is moving".

He then turns his camera on Carol and by the end of the video, he calls her a "horrible b***h."

The man then appears to strike Carol, resulting in her phone falling out of her hands.

Toks took to his Twitter account to share the video, writing:

"Look what this assh*le did to my wife. He can be happy. Mango do something please ⁦@FlyMangoSA."

Briefly.co.za gathered Mango airlines responded to the former rugby player's tweet and revealed they had launched an investigation into the matter.
