A recent viral video proved the point that dynamite comes in small packages.

The unusual video showed how a Land Rover blitzed through morning traffic down a busy road in Pretoria.

However, viewers soon discovered the twist was that the heavy vehicle was actually being towed by one of the smallest cars available.

South Africans were stunned to discover that an old Mini Copper had the power to tow a vehicle of such mass.

What stood out for many was the ease with which the cars moved through traffic - it seemed as though the Mini was doing so without any effort.

Briefly.co.za gathered that the footage left many impressed, as they showed their appreciation for the lighthearted moment.

Obakeng Chilwane valued performance over size:

"As they said it's not about the size but the performance of it, ouh by the way ladies I hope you taking notes."

Vuyani Ngoyi questioned who was really in control:

"That mini has no brakes and the land rover is used to stop it."
