Simphiwe Dana had an extremely eventful weekend - her baby daddy decided to visit his kids after he'd been absent for a whopping 10 years.

The star tweeted about the experience.

She wrote, "Baby daddy is coming to see the kids today after 10 years of being absent. I hope he keeps his promise. He tells his people that I'm keeping him away from his kids. Men lie."

Clearly Simphiwe was a little stressed by the situation because she started swearing at fans who told her to stop generalising that all men lie.

Thankfully, the singer's baby daddy did rock up and Simphiwe revealed how excited the kids were to see him.

Simphiwe also said she's done being bitter about the pain her baby daddy put their kids through.

She said, "I've forgiven him. Let's start again."

Sis continued, "I'm letting this go. (I'm) no longer fighting with deadbeats. I'm happy (my) baby daddy is accounting for his nonsense. I pray other women also get this justice. I love you mamas. You're doing amazing."

The joyous occasion brought out Simphiwe's more homely side and she cooked a fabulous mean for her family. Nice!

It was clear the singer was going through something when she lashed out at Mzansi men online.

Last month, Briefly.co.za reported that Simphiwe trended for calling SA men gold diggers.
