Phila Madlingozi is a singer, actor, filmmaker, and rapper. He was born in Johannesburg but raised in Port Elizabeth by his grandmother, alongside his siblings and cousins. Who are Phila Madlingozi parents? His father, Ringo Madlingozi, is a legendary musician, but there is no available information on his mother. When he was 14 years, he and his siblings moved to Johannesburg to live with their father.

[Singing] was cool from a young age so I learned how to do it, and music is in my family, so it wasn't that hard to transition into music.
