4 successful South African celebs without matric certificates
Having no matric certificate has not stopped some of Mzansi's rich and famous from continuing to make money. As much as education is important in order to make it in life, some of our stars continue to get the bag despite the certificate.

Many of our youth with matric certificates and even degrees have not been able to get proper jobs in Mzansi. But some of our stars who have no matric, have not let that get in their way of making money. Some of them have gone on to become filthy rich.
They have mansions, drive foreign cars and wear designer clothes. Even though they were not able to finish school, they have used their talent to make a comfortable life for themselves. Hard work definitely pays off. Briefly.co.za takes a look at four of our stars who don't have the important certificate.
1. Cassper Nyovest
The Amademoni hitmaker dropped out of high school at the age of 16. Even though Cassper does not have a matric certificate, the star has expressed that he wants to become a billionaire one day. He is one of the most successful rappers in Mzansi.
2. Somizi Mhlongo
Somizi is known for his larger-than-life personality and flamboyant life. The entertainer dropped out of school to pursue a career in acting when he was in Sarafina. Since then, he has never looked back. He is one of the richest Mzansi celebs. He is a Metro FM presenter, has a lit reality TV show called Living The Dream With Somizi and he recently bagged a cooking show called Dinner At Somizi's.
3. Prince Kaybee
The award-winning DJ has no matric certificate but he has become one of the best music producers in the country. The Gugulethu hitmaker recently revealed that all of his Mercedes Benz are paid for in full and not owned by the bank. He also has a few mansions across the country.
4. DJ Maphorisa
The musician dropped out of school in Grade 11 to pursue a career in dejaaying and he has achieved more than what many can in their lifetime. He is one of the most respected producers of Amapiano. The star has a very successful record label called BlaqBoy Music. One of his signees is Kabza De Small.

In other news, Briefly.co.za reported that Mzansi took to social media to appreciate legendary musician Zola 7 after Cassper Nyovest dropped their new song on Friday, 21 February.
Zola released hit after hit during his hey days and the citizens of Mzansi decided to give him his flowers while the is still alive. The Woof Woof hitmaker, real name Bonginkosi Dlamini, did not just give the country street anthems but he was also a hell of a good actor.
He played the character of Papa Action on Yizo Yizo. He also had one of the most-watched shows called Zola 7 where he made the dreams of SA youths come true. Some of his fans took to Twitter and praised the star for the good deeds he has done for the country. Some encouraged him to drop new music.
