It's Heritage Day and everyone is taking some time to appreciate the many beautiful cultures in Mzansi. DJ Zinhle and her baby girl Kairo also decided to join in on the festivities. Zinhle shared an adorable video of Kairo doing a Zulu traditional dance.
The adorable footage showed Kairo dressed in traditional attire while doing a Zulu dance known as ukugiya. The dance involves lifting a leg to the rhythm of a beating drum.
Kairo looked absolutely adorable in her Xhosa regalia and we are sure that Zinhle could not be more proud. We love to see it.
Social media users gushed over the sweet video in the comments section. Instagram user thembakazi27 said:
"Yes my girl kwenziwa njalo (that's how it's done)"
Briefly.co.za previously reported that Zinhle Jiyane took to Instagram to post cute snaps of herself and her baby girl. The South African DJ captioned the pair of pictures with a simple, "My love." The two were in co-ordinated outfits of grey tops, denim bottoms and snazzy shades. The mom-daughter duo posed in the same way with their eyes cast down and their right feet forward
The mini-boss Kairo also had a stand-alone photo where she showed off her fresh outfit and accessories.
In terms of following in mommy's footsteps, it was impossible not to notice the little accessory that completed Kairo's ensemble.
Aside from her shades and sneakers, she also sported a Louis Vuitton handbag. Kairo, whose own Instagram account has a million followers, is music industry royalty as her mommy DJ Zinhle co-parents with her daddy, rapper AKA. The cutie is clearly adored by fans of both her parents as Instagram followers of the DJ flooded the comments with positivity and love.
