Kanye West has conceded defeat in the ongoing US presidential election. The rapper had entered the presidential race as an independent candidate.
The election has become a two-way race between President Donald Trump and former vice president Joe Biden.
The superstar took to Twitter on Wednesday, 4 November to share that he is now eyeing the 2024 election. The disappointed Kanye shared a pic of himself walking past the 2020 election results map. He captioned his post: "WELP KANYE 2024."
Kanye had earlier told his fans on the micro-blogging app that he voted for the first time in his life during the 2020 election. He shared that he voted for himself.
"God is so good. Today I am voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States, and it's for someone I truly trust... Me."
The Washington Post reports that while Trump is projected to win the state of Florida, Biden insisted early on Wednesday that "we believe we’re on track to win this election".
"It ain’t over till every vote is counted," Biden said.

"You've deliberately swayed away 50 000 votes despite knowing that you stand no chance in the presidential race as an independent candidate. We all know that you've done this to aid the Republicans. You are a curse to America."
In related news, Briefly.co.za reported that Lil Pump has endorsed President Donald Trump as US citizens get ready to vote in the country's presidential election on Tuesday, 3 November.
The rapper, who was wearing Trump's famous Make America Great Again hat, went on stage at a Trump rally and discouraged citizens from voting for "sleepy Joe". Trump's biggest rival in the election is former vice president Joe Biden.
Lil Pump, who has a song with Kanye West titled I love It, told scores of people who gathered at the campaign rally:
"I've come here to say Mr President I appreciate everything you've done for our country. You've brought the troops home. and you're doing the right thing. MAGA 2020, don't forget that. Do not vote for sleepy Joe at all!"
Before Pump made his way to the stage, Trump introduced the star as Lil Pimp. Trump quickly corrected himself when he called Pump up on stage to say a few words.
