Sometimes it's too much work to write a grocery list on paper or one of those list apps on a phone. This mad lad was using his ex-bae's number to write his grocery lists since she blocked him.
However, for some reason, she unblocked his number and was surprised to get a string of texts listing rice, salt, wheat and a cucumber.
She demanded to know what weird mess she'd landed up in when he revealed that he was using her number as a grocery list since she blocked him.
@uMambulazi shared the hilarious post on social media where it picked up a lot of attention.
Here are some reactions to the hilarious post on social media:
@ChiefJusticeHD:
"I also do the same,I write my notes to those non-existent numbers on my WhatsApp ."
@RachelZimkhitha:
"I do this on wrong numbers until they block me so that I can write my lists in peace."
@Gilbertgobs:
"This comment section should just create a WhatsApp group, then removed everyone and use it as your drafting space. Just create a group with your friend and then remove the friend."
In another hilarious story, Briefly.co.za reported that an image of a very young-looking police officer is circulating on Twitter. @snepto4 shared the image of the unknown officer with the caption making reference to Police Minister Bheki Cele's bedtime statement.
"Tomorrow sleep early at 19h00 because I will deal with you. Dankie Bheki Cele," read the caption.
The post quickly gained traction as South Africans took notice of the cop's babyface. Many were commenting that they would not take advice from a "bundle of joy" not knowing that the post was just a meme.
In other uniquely South African news, Briefly.co.za recently reported on a wheelbarrow that was turned into an emergency braai. A piece of metal with squares in it was placed over a fire in the wheelbarrow.
The meat was placed on top of that and there you have it, a makeshift-wheelbarrow braai. Musa Bokweni captioned his post that was shared to the #ImStaying group:
"Wheelbarrow came to the rescue. To eternal friends #WeStaying."
