Bonang Matheba's 2021 is off to a sizzling start as the first pictures she posted in the new year were a gorgeous set of photos of herself.
Bonang took to social media to share the pics and show off her Louis Vuitton look. The star tagged the fashion house in her photos since she was wearing a matching look of a Louis Vuitton monogram dress and matching clutch purse.
The whole outfit was a stunning ensemble and everything from Queen B's make-up to her nails was looking fire.
Fans and followers thought so too and took to the comments to compliment Bonang on her outfit and her appearance:
siphephelo_dlamini_: "Louis prints on fire you look stunning queen"
nicki_d__: "Are we even worthy"
audz_m: "Dzaam, I missed her sooo much and she yeerrr she served."
Famous friends like Maps Maponyane and Nandi Madida also commented their appreciation for the photos but TV personality Denrele Edun was the hype-friend everyone wants in their lives and he wrote:
denrele_edun: "SHE IS BACK AND READY!!!!! Missed you for a min!!! Felt like a Decade! Power! Presence! Personality! Stunning on 50 Shades of SEXY that ain't been invented yet!"
In previous Bonang Matheba-related news, Briefly.co.za reported on when the media personality dragged Phil Mphela for being disrespectful on Twitter.
Phil Mphela is a television commentator who always keeps South African social media users updated on what is going on in the entertainment world. On 27 December, Phil tweeted about who he thinks are the best breakout actors this year. He mentioned Ama Qamata, TK Sebothoma, Lunathi Mampofu and Busi Lurayi.
Busi Lurayi is a seasoned Mzansi actress and has been on television for a while. She has been making waves for her performance on the Netflix series How to Ruin Christmas.
Bonang found it extremely disrespectful for Phil to mention her on a list that has actors who have only broken onto the scene recently.
South African stylist Dumi Gwebu replied to Phil's tweet by saying:
"Please do not disrespect Busi Lurayi like this."
Bonang was in agreement with Dumi and implied that Phil has always been known to say things like this.
"He's disrespectful. Always been," she said.
Twitter users were in agreement with Bonang about Phil's disrespect and weighed in on the matter. Briefly.co.za put together a few reactions from the microblogging site.
@BWorded_ said: "Clearly he didn't have a TV when Sokhulu & Partners was around."
@LungeloKM said: "He's vile. Never open to others' opinions."
@OfficialBongile commented: "I've always felt off about him, but of late, the true colours are cracking."
