A grateful South African man, Re-Marius Hamel recently dedicated a heartfelt thank you post to a nurse called Tebogo who had helped make his rough 8-week hospital stay feel a whole lot better with his amazing service.
"This young man Tebogo was at my side for 8 weeks! A great example of what nurses should be like. I was not allowed visitors and he was tolerant during my deliriums, my absolute horrific trips, my attempts to jump or escape! Didn't know where I was.
"Thanx my friend, for helping me through the most horrific time of my life. Tebogo!Thanx dr Slade ( what a cool name!) Vermaak. (spinal surgeon) Dr De Klerk ( physician) and the rest of the team of doctors at Groenkloof,"he wrote.
Meanwhile, locals had this to say about the post:
Charmaine Strauss said:
"This is what I call an earth angel...God is his rewarder. He sees even the smallest deed."
Amanda Peacock said:
"There are so many decent, kind humans out there and Tebogo is one of them, if ever I end up in the hospital I would like a Tebogo to care for me"
Mohau Rammile said:
"It's being human that really keeps us together "
Marlene Vogel said:
"Job well done Tebogo. Blessings to you."
In similar heartwarming Briefly.co.za news BI Phakathi is a philanthropist who is doing his absolute best to make a difference in the lives of as many people as he can. In his most recent video that was shared online, BI meets up with a woman selling pencils in the street.
Under the guise of wanting to buy a few pencils from her, BI sparks a conversation with her around how much money she makes from selling the pencils. He also asks about her living conditions - to which she reveals that she is homeless.
Not long thereafter, she shows BI the humble place behind a supermarket that she and her partner call home. Presumably moved by the pair's living conditions, BI asks the woman whether she would like him to help change her life.
