Legendary Mzansi entertainer Desmond Dube has reached the age of 52 and Mzansi fans are celebrating his career and life. Desmond is accomplished in both theatre and television. He is also a comedian and has been putting smiles on South Africans faces for a while.
Desmond has also contributed greatly to music and has a colourful musical career. He has featured in a number of films such as Tarzan: The Epic Adventures and Panic Manic alongside Leon Schuster.
He has received a number of awards in the entertainment industry. Desmond has an Avanti Award for Best Comedy Actor, a Stellenbosch Festival Award for Best Supporting Actor and a Loerie Award for his "Ama glug-glug" advert for SASOL.
Desmond is married to Tlotliso Matsela, whom he met at the University of Wits back in 1997. They said "I do" in 2002. He is a father of two daughters and he keeps his family life out of the public eye.
There has often been speculation as to whether Desmond Dube is related to veteran actress Lillian Dube and the two like to play pranks on people when it comes to this. However, Desmond has revealed that Lillian is not his birth mother. She is instead his mentor.

"Coming soon. In a few days, life begins. All the January babies please stand up," she said.
Khabonina was born in Soweto, Johannesburg on 22 January 1981. She has acted in a number of Mzansi television productions.
