South African media personality Pearl Thusi has a beautiful heart of gold. Details have come to light about how she helped the Bala family when they were going through a rough patch.
The Covid-19 pandemic caused damage to many people's lives in the country and the Bala family was also affected. A number of people lost their income and were left to fend for themselves because of unemployment.
According to a report by News24, Loyiso Bala's wife Jennifer spoke about how Pearl Thusi helped them for four months when they lost the home the Bala family was renting.
Jennifer is Loyiso's manager and they suffered because the entertainment industry came to a halt.

Jennifer said that they had lost so much money that they didn't even have a roof over their heads. She told News24 that she and Loyiso tried to make payment arrangements, but the landlord didn't want to meet them halfway.
Pearl came to the rescue and offered the Bala family a place to stay until they could get back on their feet.
According to News24, it was a distressing time, with the publication writing that they had 'little income, no home.'
Pearl left her house in Morningside because she had moved to Johannesburg. The actress then offered it to the Balas.
“Pearl and I are really good friends. We stayed there for four months. We were blessed to be in that situation. Blessed that Pearl is such a good friend," said Jennifer.
The Balas eventually found a home that is closer to their children's schools and are super grateful for the fact that Pearl helped them in a time of need.

This particular project is a whole movie in Thailand! The revelation was made after trolls tried to come for her about her skin colour again. The clearly-exhausted actress responded:
“They never use skin colour to discredit men when comparing them. This is so disrespectful. But let me shoot my movie in Thailand... this is exhausting.”
