Vuyo Dabula Denies Leaving 'Generations: The Legacy' After Reports

- Mzansi actor Vuyo Dabula has finally spoken out and has rubbished the claims that he is leaving Generations: The Legacy

- Mzansi reports had been saying that Vuyo was getting ready to move on from the show but he says this is not true

- Vuyo also addressed the claims that he was leaving Generations so he could focus on the now-cancelled Queen Sono

Not so long ago, a number of media houses reported that Vuyo Dabula would be leaving his role as Kumkani Phakade on Generations: The Legacy. The actor has rubbished these claims and says that he isn't going anywhere.

The actor told Drum magazine that he was shocked to see that there were reports of him gearing up to leave the popular Mzansi soapie. Apart from that, there were rumours that he would be joining Uzalo, which left him even more gobsmacked.

"There are a whole lot of stories around this. It is a bit bizarre, the idea that I am leaving Generations has been preceded by other news that has been circulating," said Vuyo.

The other news that has been circulating is that Vuyo might be leaving the country. He also spoke about the rumour that he is going to be working with US rapper 50 Cent on a new show saying that he found it hilarious.

He also addressed the claims that he was leaving Generations for Queen Sono. Vuyo says that the show was cancelled and that's all there is to it.

Vuyo says that he's grateful to just be able to provide for his family during the hard times that South Africa is facing.

In other Mzansi television news, Briefly.co.za reported that Pearl Thusi is undergoing martial arts training for her new role. Mzansi actress Pearl Thusi recently landed herself a new role in an international Netflix production called Wu Assassins.

The actress has now revealed that she's been doing extensive martial arts training to get ready to play her character. Pearl took to social media and shared a video of herself serving dropkicks and punches.

She captioned the footage:

"Form needs so much work. So much to learn. Thank you @sathian_somkhao."

Judging by the minute-long video of Pearl training with the martial artist, it looks like her new role is going to be filled with action.
