Ntsiki Mazwai has been embroiled in a cloud of controversy ever since DJ Fresh dragged her to court for making accusations against him. Since then Ntsiki has hinted that she has been fighting similar battles against him and others.
The poet has also openly supported the Twitter user @Nampree, who accused both DJ Fresh and Euphonik of sexually assaulting her.
Since then, Ntsiki has been receiving support from other women. She took to social media to thank them for believing her.
“I would like to thank all the women who mobilised and used their voices to protect me and be my voice. Some of you I was beefing with, but you stood up for me... For us all. Thank you for showing me sisterhood...”
Her post received a lot of attention online as it’s not often the controversial personality posts positive feedback.
Twitter user 1wild_introvert said:
“Because the truth knows no beef. When you said it's time for women to unblock one another, that right there was a solid deal”
“We love you too much....be told”
Meanwhile Briefly.co.za previously reported that the family of the woman who accused DJ Fresh and Euphonik of rape have denied releasing a statement.
The Madikizelas have been trending online after a statement that was said to have been written by them was shared on social media.
According to the Daily Sun, who spoke to a family representative, the statement was allegedly fake and they never released it.
The family have reportedly expressed their surprise and dismay that they were associated with the statement. Speaking to the publication, the unnamed representative reportedly said that the statement was not known to the family.
The representative also pointed out that the statement included no name and no contact number, confirming that it did not originate from the family.
The daughter, Ms Madikizela, has reportedly never spoken to the family about the issue nor asked them to write a statement about it.
The family member also denied DJ Fresh’s statement that an aunt of the accuser contacted him.
“I don’t know of any person from my family who’d have made such a call, or would have access to DJ Fresh’s contacts. DJ Fresh is very far from the rest of us.”
