"I haven't been on Twitter and just waking up this morning to catch up on the happenings of the weekend has been heavy. The justice system is extremely flawed when it comes to the protection of victims of rape and abuse, especially if the accused is in a position of power.
"Learning that Vuyo has been here having the best time while being accused of rape and having Euphonik continuously antagonizing Nampree and making a joke of everything is uncalled for. I'm sad but not shocked because this is where we are as a country," she wrote.

Meanwhile, many South Africans headed to the comment section to share their thoughts. Read some of them below:

"I’m so happy you are saying something about this. Celebrities just mute when these things happen."

Briefly.co.za previously reported that Euphonik has shared a message he claims to have received from the girl who accused him of assaulting her. Mzansi DJ's Fresh and Euphonik have had their rape case set aside.

DJ Euphonik released a statement on February 15. According to Euphonik, the sexual assault claim was investigated by the authorities and it was found that the allegations made against him are without merit.

The girl pleads with Euphonik suing his real name Temba, she apologised for accusing him and said that "people" made her do it. She revealed that layers want to take the case further, perhaps insinuating that she may be in legal trouble.
