- Zinhle's questions left Mzansi social media users giving mixed responses as they shared their thoughts on the matter
DJ Zinhle is known as one of the nicest people in the music industry. The muso always quietly carries on with her business even when trolls come for her. It seems being a good person may have taken its toll on the mother-of-one.
She recently took to social media to ask her followers if they ever got tired of being good people.
“Do you ever get tired of being a good person? Asking for a friend...”
Social media users had mixed reactions to her tweet. Twitter user AlfredMnyathi said:
“If you are not genuine in your goodness you will definitely get tired because you will be faking it. A natural good person does not change because of people who don't appreciate because you do not expect anything in return.”
“Yhea but you always find yourself being a good person all over again, ngoba being a good hearted person is not a choice, it's who we are. And the minute you try retaliate and be bad, you feel guilty the whole decade and centuries.”
“You can still be a good person and still have boundaries, never let people overstep.”
“Yes, I do. I even cried last week Wednesday... Because I was sick and tired of always taking the better person.”
“You have to try and be nice almost all the time. But also understand sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind. Sometimes you have to be not so nice.”
Meanwhile, Briefly.co.za reported that DJ Zinhle found herself trending on social media recently after AKA proposed to his girlfriend Nelli Tembe. The musician paid no mind to the trolls who dragged her into the announcement.
Instead, DJ ZInhle dropped a series of selfies looking all glammed up and had her followers gushing over how gorgeous she looked. Zinhle shared the pictures on her Instagram account along with a caption about how wonderful she felt.
Social media users shared their thoughts in the comments section of her post. Instagram user ntsimbikabelo said:
"AKA played himself. Anyway, you look amazing and you’re an inspiration!"
"Protect her at all costs."
"You are so beautiful mama."
