- South African musician and actor Naaq Musiq recently did a tell-all interview with Mac G
- In the interview, the artist opened up about his ongoing beef with fellow Mzansi artist, Prince Kaybee
- According to Naaq Musiq, the two of them were very friendly until he gave Kaybee some advice that he seemingly did not want to hear
Anga aka Naak Musiq recently did a tell-all interview with podcast king, Mac G. One of the things Mac G questioned him about was his beef with fellow South African celebrity, Prince Kaybee who he was once close friends with.
According to the musician, he and Kaybee became friends after they did a couple of gigs together. Eventually they exchanged contacts and spoke regularly on Whatsapp. The relationship, according to Naaq Musiq progressed to a point where he considered Kaybee like a brother.
Naturally, the new phase of their relationship meant that Anga felt comfortable speaking his feelings and giving Kaybee advice on certain things, but according to Anga, Kaybee did not feel the same way.
"I don't know what started it but I remember, I mean If I consider you as my brother, I should be able to tell you when you are doing something wrong. In fact, if I don't tell you that then I don't consider you as my brother.
"So it was one of those situations, I don't even know what it was about. I remember just saying something and then he laughed and said it's just me being competitive."
According to Anga, things became tense after that, and not long thereafter, Kaybee was throwing shade his way - about his car no less. Anga alleges that Kaybee had compared his M6 to a boat and used trash can emojis to describe it.
He has however added that it was all banter from his side and that he never took any of it too seriously even though the two of them went on to have an infamous twar once again centered around cars.
Briefly.co.za previously reported that Naak Musiq, whose real name is Anga Makubalo, decided to take Prince Kaybee on, trying to claim his ranking above him on the social ladder. Naak feels he is leaps above Kaybee. Men are born with competitive bones in their bodies.
They will literally compete over the smallest things and will do whatever it takes to come out on top. Briefly.co.za came across a post where Naak responded to Kaybee, schooling him on whips and reminding him that he had it waxed way before Kaybee could even shine.
While both Naak and Kaybee are awesome guys, they are both hella competitive and like to be the alpha male. Competition between these two is bound to get nasty. It all started when Kaybee responded to Naak’s saucy snap of him standing next to his lit BMW. Kaybee felt it was a bit cheeky for Naak to post such a boastful snap.
