A young man has taken to social media to announce that he recently acquired his first house at the age of 22. With the Twitter handle @mariiiwrld, he shared adorable photos of himself in and outside the beautiful house.

In one of the photos, @mariiiwrld can be seen holding keys to house and in another photo, he stands in front of the building, smiling and feeling fulfilled that his dream has finally come true.

He captioned the photos:

"Blessed to be a homeowner at 22."

Tweeps soon flooded the comment section with congratulatory messages and their opinions.

In similar news, Briefly.co.za previously reported that a 23-year-old student entrepreneur pays his own way with a small furniture business. A 23-year-old man identified as Iniongun Victor has further proven that youths in the country are industrious.

The young man combines schooling with furniture-making after learning the trade from his father in 2017, Daily Trust reports.

Victor, who is studying public administration at the Benue State University, Makurdi, said it is not easy to juggle school and work but he finds fulfilment in the fact that he's able to fend for himself.

The 200-level student, whose shop is in the police barracks road in Adeke, Makurdi, said he makes furniture for all classes of people.

“I came here because I hear that the area is just opening up for building development and that there were no artisans (furniture makers) doing my kind of work around. Though my expectations of the location haven’t reached the peak, my old customers are, however, still patronising me."
