Uzalo: Actress Nyalleng Thibedi Leaves Local Television Show

Uzalo is going through a lot of changes. From bringing onboard new characters to losing much-loved old ones.
According to entertainment blogger Phil Mphela, Nyalleng Thibedi is the latest cast member to leave the hit TV show. The actress, who plays the role of Zekhethelo is exiting the show to pursue another venture.
Nyalleng played the once wealthy daughter of a thug to being a drug addict.
It is not yet clear how she will be leaving the show.
Uzalo fans have expressed their sadness over her departure.

Meanwhile Briefly News previously reported that Mzansi actor Khaya Dladla has returned to his role as GC on Uzalo. When the show first came onto the scene it was very exciting but some fans have been worried that it's losing its shine.
As Season 7 of the soapie started, new faces were introduced to the cast in an attempt to revive the show. Now, Khaya Dlala along with Nokuthula Mabika has returned to the show and fans are hoping this will help spice things up.
Khaya took to social media to announce the return of beloved GC to Uzalo, he posted a picture as his character and captioned it:
"Back by popular demand. You have been asking me when is this day ever going to come? Thank you for the support and love in this journey. It humbles me."
Khaya exclusively spoke to Briefly News about his return as GC on Uzalo. The fans and the crew of the show have been wanting him to come back.
"I'm very excited for the fans, especially those who have been requesting that GC returns to KwaMashu (Uzalo) because it's been a long time but acting on TV has always been fun for me, my co-stars and the crew," said the actor.
