Halala: Nasty C Celebrates 'Zulu' Mixtape Reaching 24 Million Streams

Nasty C's joint mixtape with US artist DJ Whoo Kid has reached a whopping 24 million streams across all digital music platforms.

The There They Go rapper took to Instagram Stories to share that the mixtape, titled Zulu, is doing very well on all official digital music platforms.

The young rapper and the DJ, who is popular for dropping mixtapes, collaborated on the project in 2020. They released it in June just a few months before Nasty C dropped his album Zulu Man With Some Power.

According to SAHipHopMag, the tweet he reposted on Instagram Stories read:

"Nasty C x WHOOkid - Zulu mixtape has reached 24 million streams on all platforms."

The 11-track project had smash hits such as They Don't featuring US rapper TI, Steve Harvey, Eazy and Screetched featuring CrownedYung.

Nasty C is currently in Atlanta, US, where he is living his best life. He has posted snaps and videos of himself partying it up at a club and when he visited the popular Trap Music Museum in Atlanta.

In other news, Briefly News reported that Nasty C is becoming a force to be reckoned with. The young rapper was given his flowers by Forbes Africa recently.

Forbes Africa named Nasty as an icon of the continent in their 100th issue cover story. This is not the first time the publication recognizes Nasty C for his contributions to the entertainment industry.

In 2018, the rapper was one of the Creatives to make the FORBES AFRICA 30 Under 30 list. The star furthered his international footprint from being featured in Rhythms of Zamunda – Coming 2 America soundtrack to also performing on the Ellen DeGeneres Show in February.

Nasty C also recorded a song with American singer Ari Lennox and US rapper TI, cementing his status as a global force.
