Today we're celebrating some serious black girl magic as Twitter user @Kgvthxtso_22 demonstrates brains and beauty are in fact not mutually exclusive characteristics in Mzansi's young ladies.

Her tweet captioned "So this happened yesterday, I’m an Engineer yal" , has seen the student go viral with more than 20k likes for the post already. We also couldn't help noticing how stunning the young lady looked in her emerald green dress, graduation certificate tightly in hand.

While it may not have been the same as stepping on a stage in front of hundreds of people clapping for you, it was as special as they could make it for themselves and so unsurprisingly, many dressed up and shared beautiful posts to celebrate the truly momentous occasion.
