Unfortunately, because she had Covid-19 she was not able to have close contact with her baby.

According to Anischa's mother, Deidre Morris, her oldest child, a boy named Azaiah is at peace because he knows that his mother is with Jesus.

“He woke up crying on Tuesday morning and his father asked him what is wrong so he said that his mother was with him," she said.

At first, Anischa was taken to a hospital in Cape Town when she was feeling sick and she was told that she had the flu.

A Covid-19 test was done and the test returned positive after a few days. She was pregnant at the time.

Her mother is struggling to come to terms with Anischa's death. She says that she feels as though she is not gone but she is still in the hospital.

Rest in peace.
