Controversial music executive Nosta Baloyi has claimed that Kwesta's album DaKAR II sold more copies than AKA's project titled Levels. Nota, who is Kwesta's former manager, praised Kwesta for his success when he appeared on The Sobering Podcast's first episode recently.
The RISA executive shared that the Ngud' hitmaker's DaKAR II was certified diamond by RISA in 2019. The project was released in 2016. It had smash hits such as Ngud' and Ngiyaz'fela Ngawe, among others.
The opinionated Nota explained that Supa Mega's Levels took years to reach 300 000 copies. Nota shared that Kwesta is selling better that AKA within Sony Music in Mzansi.
"The big act, the bestselling hip-hop act who is at the imprint of RCA via the label that I’m the head of is Kwesta," Nota said, according to SAHIPHOPMAG.

The There They Go hitmaker challenged his fans to dance to the track ans share their videos on TikTok. In the short clip he posted, is a graphic of a cassette tape. The rapper captioned the post:

Briefly.co.za also reported that Cassper Nyovest recently took to social media to share that he wishes they could shoot a music video for Kabza De Small's hit titled Sponono. The track is reportedly huge in Nigeria.
The number features Mufasa and other African heavy hitters such as DJ Maphorisa and Nigerian stars Burna Boy and WizKid. A tweep @Drizzyk243 took to Twitter on Tuesday, 12 January and shared the the track needs a music video. @Drizzyk243 was replying to another fan who tweeted about how the song made everyone try out Amapiano in Nigeria. The Amademoni hitmaker took to the micro-blogging app and responded to @Drizzyk243's tweet. Cassper Nyovest wrote:
