Electricity Minister Kgosientsho Ramokgopa claims Eskom has not surpassed Stage 6 loadshedding after rumours circulated that the utility implemented Stage 8.

Eskom denies allegations that it secretly implemented loadshedding Stage 8 on Thursday, 6 April. The power utility insists it capped loadshedding at Stage 6.
