Renowned broadcaster Sol Phenduka sparked a heated online discussion after sharing that a childhood friend overcharged him for a construction project at his family home.

The Podcast and Chill co-host, who hogged headlines after Kaya FM fired him, shared how he had approached a childhood friend with a job offer. He said the friend charged him over three times what a stranger quoted him for the same job.

Sol Phenduka, a Big Brother Mzansi alumnus, asked why his childhood friend was overcharging him, considering that he had previously contracted him to do some work at his family home a while ago. The post was captioned:
