Afrotainment singing duo Viggy and Virginia Qwabe, popularly known as the Qwabe Twins, had social media buzzing recently regarding their latest achievement.

On Thursday, 4 September 2025, the singers who went viral after showing off their amazing bodies on social media excitedly announced on their Instagram page that they had bought themselves a new car.

The former Idols SA stars shared a video of themselves fetching their new whip at the dealership store. They bought a 2025 Toyota Fortuner, which starts from approximately R 679,100 for the base 2.4GD-6 manual model and can go up to about R 999,00.

Their fans couldn't be more proud of them as they beamed with joy that the twins who rose to fame when they made their debut at the 15th season of Idols SA.

Who are the Qwabe Twins?

Qwabe Twins is a South African Afro-pop duo from KwaZulu-Natal, made up of identical twins Virginia and Viggy Qwabe. They participated in season 15 of Idols South Africa. After the show, they signed with Afrotaiment Records and released their debut album, The Gift of Love, in 2020. Their second album, Words of Hope, released in 2022, reached number 3 on the South African charts.

Soon after leaving Idols, they signed a record deal and released their hit single Hamba, featuring DJ Tira, on November 29, 2019. The music video for Hamba earned 5 million views on YouTube and won an award at the 2021 Afrotaiment awards. They were also nominated for Newest Find at the 2020 KZN Entertainment Awards.
