South African actor Menzi Ngubane's widow recently remembered him as she celebrated two important milestones in her life.

Sikelelwa Sishuba took to Instagram on Sunday to celebrate her birthday, which is also a very special day in her and Ngubane's union.

Menzi Ngubane remembered

The late Generations star passed away on 13 March 2021 after he was hit with a stroke at home. At the time, Menzi Ngubane was 56 when he passed. Sishuba posted a heartwarming photo of her with Ngubane in the backdrop.

She expressed gratitude for having lived to see another year while also acknowledging that it was the day she became Mrs Ngubane.

On 28 August 2025, Sikelelwa honoured her husband on his heavenly birthday.

"I miss the strength you brought me and the comfort it brought me, Dali. On your birthday, it's so hard to be brave. Here on earth, we shared a life as Happy as could be, and I never took for granted all you meant to me, Nomafu. So I'll celebrate your birthday, but I'll spend it missing you. Happy Heavenly Birthday, Nzombane."

Earlier this year, she reflected on his death, which became the start of life not making sense to her. Her message showed that she was still grappling with his death and that she was trying to heal from her immense loss.
