His niece was contacted to confirm her decision to withdraw the case, and was informed that it would not be brought back to court, a decision Tholo accepts.
Speaking to Daily Sun, Neo said her decision to withdraw the case was a result of a mutual family agreement, for the sake of peace. She also mentioned that she warned him against assaulting women.
"I think he's learnt one or two lessons from beating women. I taught him that so that when he gets into a relationship with a woman, he must not beat her. We spoke about it and agreed on never fighting, especially on social media," she said.
Tsekeleke was relieved that he could finally attend his gigs lined up prior to his imprisonment.
"I am so happy. I was worried about when I was going to be released because my gigs had been paused," he was quoted as saying.
He also mentioned that the police officers took care of him during his stay behind bars, "The police took good care of me inside, and I was never hungry," he mentioned.
This was a lesson learnt for Tsekeleke, who assured that he would keep his hands to himself. Below are some of the reactions from Facebook users:

We can't have state resources wasted by people opening cases and simply withdrawing them at the snap of a finger. Neo should be arrested for wasting state resources and time, time that would've been used for serious cases."

Isaac Molahlegi Wa Maphaka revealed:
"I don't think he is even aware that he was in jail, maybe he thought ke content."
