University of Limpopo student and talented musician Juddy "Malekere" Mabula has been identified as the second victim after Vincent Maphopha to die from the car accident with Lekompo artist Kharishma.

Kharishma's brother, Nthekgeng Mogale, revealed over the weekend that his sister is recovering from the car crash.

Daily Sun confirmed on Monday, 17 November 2025, that Juddy Mabula succumbed to his injuries on Saturday, 15 November 2025, after spending 16 days in hospital following the car accident.

The car accident had already claimed the life of Vincent Maphopha, who was laid to rest a week ago in Limpopo province.

Social media channel @LekompoConnect shared on its X account on Sunday, 16 November 2025, that Juddy has passed away.

"Polokwane: An artist, Juddy Malekere, dies. A Lekompo artist, Juddy Malekere, has passed away, allegedly due to a car accident. He was a University of Limpopo student," wrote the channel.

The family of the driver who died in Kharishma's car crash speaks

In more entertainment news, Briefly News previously reported that talented musician Vincent Maphopha passed away after he was involved in a tragic car crash with popular artist Kharishma.

The family of the keyboard player and student has paid tribute to their son, who was reportedly buried over the weekend in Limpopo province.

South Africans took to social media this week to wish Kharishma a speedy recovery and to bid farewell to Vincent Maphopha, who passed away on Friday, 31 October 2025.
