South African Amapiano star Mawhoo is on a rolling streak! The popular singer recently yet another major career milestone, which left many of her fans beaming with joy.

According to Fakazanews, the star who recently linked up with Scotts Maphuma in Kenya landed herself four nominations at the Ukhozi FM's Song of the Year titles.

This is by far one of the greatest achievements any artist can achieve as a solo star to have so many of their songs selected for the most popular radio station title in history. Mawhoo is deserving of these nominations, showing how she has consistently she has delivered hits and how strongly her music resonates with the public.

While Mawhoo also celebrated her major nominees, Ukhozi FM also decided to celebrate with their listeners and followers on Instagram as they shared the full list of the nominees.

They captioned the post:

According to Daily Sun, that is no longer the case, as the station will compile a list of the top 20 songs from its charts and other streaming platforms. The nominees will be officially announced on their social media accounts and on the airwaves. Then, on 1 December, voting for the top 10 will start and end on the 31st.

MaWhoo thanks fans for Ukhozi FM nod

In a previous report from Briefly News, the South African Amapiano singer MaWhoo expressed gratitude after winning the Song of the Year in 2025. Mthandeni SK's Gucciwon the Ukhozi FM Song of the Year, and it features MaWhoo.
